In those days blowing a cold southerly wind into the fjord ... The land around Kuummiut is warmed by the sun, now shining 22 hours a day .. The air rises ... It leads to the cold air from Denmark Strait to be sucked into the inlet ... Right now it is good for fish and laundry :-)
When my boat was back in the water after I had filled new oil on the engine, I sailed a small trip on the fjord ... In the background the mountains called The Triplets ...

This week, every day, one of my photos were shown on TV KNR, Greenland's official television channel ...The picture was shown before the sending of advertising or if there was a pause in the broadcasts
The engine on my boat is now running for 100 hours and it is now to change the engine and gearbox oils ... I went down to the port Friday afternoon at low tide ... To see whether there was space on the ramp ... at the ramp was a boat, but it will probably be removed by high tide at 10 in the evening ... Then it's my turn to use the ramp....
On the way home ... I saw the dogs enjoying the sun beside the river

When I came down the ramp in the evening there was already two speedboats which should have changed the oil in the engines ... Too late again ... Instead I was up at 3 in the night and got my boat up the ramp ... Now the engine can running 100 hours before changing the oil ...
Today there are elections to the Greenland parliament ...
I hope the wind is blowing the same way as in the Scorpions' Wind of change "

The ice scattered at the entrance to the port and blocking the entrance .. But fishermen and hunters are experts in finding a passage, between the floes, so the boats can get in and out ...
The ice is now close outside the port ... The rope ensures that the ice does not come into the port...

My little house I use for rent have new windows today ... I had ordered glass to the windows in Denmark .. Slides came with an air cargo last Thursday ... It was not possible to obtain glass here on the East Greenland ... It was a pleasure to put in the new low-energy glazing ..There are no more red paint to buy in our small shop ... Paint work must wait until I can get paint from Tasiilaq / Angmassalik or Denmark

This is the first day with fog in this year ... The settlement is located 60 km inside the fjord, so it's not often we have problems with fog....
